ONE ROOM CHALLENGE * WEEK 6 * HOME GYM MAKEOVER - FINAL REVEAL!
Before we started this project, our home gym was more of a storage room for all-the-things. We had so much STUFF in that room. It also didn’t smell great. I was anxious to rip down the old ceiling and pull up the carpet. We made a plan, set a budget and got started. Here are the final results of our 6-week project.
It wouldn’t be a final reveal without sharing the chaotic, before images. Right? No wonder we didn’t use the room very often; it makes me anxious just looking at these photos.
Moving along to the inspiration board - we wanted a light, bright and airy room. Clean, organized and plenty of room for our activities. A very different vibe than the photos below.
The all-mighty Paul closet; perfect for holding hockey gear, jiu jit su gear and other random workout items. The main goal of the closet was to store hockey gear and sticks, but also a designated space for the skate dryer and a hanging bar to dry attire. I’d say it turned out pretty great.
Below are additional images of the completed home gym makeover. Bob, Paul’s grappling dummy, even made the final photo shoot.
What’s the status of your home gym? We are over-the-moon with how this room turned out. Feeling so grateful for the extra room to claim as our “home gym” and for the challenges we crossed along the way.
