52 Weeks of Mail: Week 14 - Bunny Love & Easter Eggs
Well, hello! Are you ready for Easter tomorrow? We are hosting our family and still have a bunch of cleaning to tackle, but we are mostly ready. Are you still in need of an Easter basket idea or want to mail a fun gift to someone far away? I've got an egg-cellent idea for you! Earlier this week I shared the inspiration the weekly mail challenge. It could be anything Easter inspired, but I thought mailing plastic eggs would be egg-xtra fun. No box required! I put together jumbo plastic eggs and mailed away to some of my littlest friends. Keep scrolling for more photos, tips and a list of non-candy items to include in your egg. >>>
I found my large eggs at the Dollar Tree, but you can find them at many other stores. All of the items I used in my eggs were purchased at Dollar Tree or Target. Here are a few quick TIPS for mailing your eggs:
- Purchase your large egg first, then shop for items to ensure they all fit
- Remove packaging from small toys to make them fit better
- Clear packing tape works best to secure for shipping
- Shipping was $3.22 for each of the eggs I mailed; bring to your post office to ensure you get correct postage on the eggs
- Place the mailing address of the side of the egg with clear packing tape over top
- Your return address can be taped to bottom of egg

I also included a mini 3x3 card in each egg with a hand written note. Tiny card complete with a mini white pom-pom for the bunny tail. Did you send any Easter mail? Wishing you a very happy Easter!
