52 Weeks of Mail: Week 11- St. Patrick's Day Card & Lucky Shamrock Banner
As you may know next Tuesday is St. Patrick's Day. A fun and festive holiday celebrated by many. In fact, you may already be celebrating the holiday as I type this. Green beer anyone? :) For Week 11 I let this fun-lovin' holiday inspire a festive package filled with green goodies.
Of course, a card was included. A tiny, handmade kraft paper envelope filled with little confetti shamrocks. Below the tiny envelope the card reads: Irish you a happy St. Patrick's Day. :)
I also got crafty and made a shamrock banner spelling out the word "Lucky". The shamrocks are made of foam, some plain and some glittered. I used a hot glue gun to attach the white cardboard letters (scrapbooking section at Michaels) to the shamrocks. Followed by gluing the foam shamrocks to white paper raffia. I found everything at Michaels. Super fast and easy craft!
I packaged the card and banner in a small box with green tissue paper; threw in some gold coins and shamrock confetti for extra fun. Did you send out some St. Patty's Day snail mail? What did you send? Happy St. Patrick's Day to All!
