A tug on my heart
A little over 3 years ago I felt a tug on my heart. A tug to do more, to be more and find my purpose
I had done all the things we *think* we are supposed to do - college, career, marriage, house, fur babies, use up those PTO hours.
So why was I feeling so unhappy?
I wasn’t really sure at the time, but I listened to that tug and followed the path to find out what was missing.
Through a lot of self-discovery, therapy, books, podcasts, journaling I realized I wasn’t taking care of myself. This was how I slid into a bubble of anxiety and depression.
When you stop taking care of yourself, I believe you lose that purpose and passion inside of yourself. We all need purpose and passion, but this isn’t something we really ever learn HOW to do.
My journey eventually led me to Coaching which continues to help me grow, change and find my purpose in this life.
As a Coach, my first priority is taking care of myself.
